Greetings, Steph here. I’m a highly-organized, creative thinker with a passion for doing good work that makes a difference.
Creative projects.
I’ve worked on a variety of thoughtfully crafted and engaging content creation projects with some things in common:
Collaborative approach
Consistent, meaningful, and persuasive voice
A sense of urgency and a sense of humor
Driven by data and optimized for Search
Measured twice, cut once (the devil is in the details…)
Political projects.
By trade, I am the Chief of Staff at a digital ad tech firm serving progressive campaigns, IEs, and organizations. I’m the go-to idea generator and editor for internal marketing efforts, the communication lead for high-value clients, and the head of the Creative Department.
Raised by a Union-organizing nurse and single-mom, the quote “If you think education is expensive, try ignorance” was proudly on display in my kitchen growing up, and it served as motivation to earn scholarships to study political science at Columbia University. While there, I explored the role of the government in bridging the opportunity gap. Today, technology also plays a major part in leveling the playing field and I’m especially proud to support first-time candidates with the digital resources they need to compete.
Professional experience.
I’ve literally written the guide for every job I’ve ever had. Documenting processes, developing value statements, creating Powerpoint slide presentations, writing job descriptions, copywriting on-brand emails, landing pages, blogs, and white papers are just some of the ways I’ve brought organization to chaos.
My role has frequently been to elevate the quality of work and break down technical concepts into digestible material. With over a decade of experience in non-profit, small business, and tech startups, I have an eye for detail with an understanding of the strategic bigger picture.

Purrsonel passion.
Have you ever tried to convince someone to pay you $25 to pet cats for an hour? I have! I’ve used my talent for cat puns to meownage San Francisco’s first cat cafe, put the fun in fundraisers, and support local organizations in our community.
Graduate-level coursework in psychology and art therapy has helped me to consider all forms of communication as valuable. Developing personas has supported my ability to adapt to different styles, tones, audiences and media. I’m very in-tune with building positive interaction flows, from creating an easy-to-understand digital check-out experience through in-store signage. That feeling that you can’t quite put your finger on…that’s my favorite part.
